Entering a verification ID performs a registry lookup only. A PDF is not requested unless you choose to carry out the separate fingerprint comparison on the authentication-record page.

Privacy

Local PDF fingerprint calculation

When a PDF is selected on an authentication-record page, the file remains on the user's device. The browser calculates its SHA-256 fingerprint and submits only that fingerprint for comparison.

Scope of Service

Accurate and limited verification claims

This service confirms registration and supports cryptographic file matching. It does not independently approve the underlying transaction, confirm signatory authority, or determine the legal enforceability of the document.
